Under pressure from her criminal backers, Swann threatens Maes to ensure the port sale proceeds, even as she begins to question who's behind it all; Christian is furious when Claire tells him about the mole, and Bibi's husband and son are targeted.

On Claire's orders, Bibi contacts her money launderer to set up a meeting in Antwerp, as Christian prepares to search Richard's apartment and offices; the mole within CTU works to sabotage their plans at every step.

Maes intercedes with the mayor to help Frances Swann, Trestford's new head, but backs out when a journalist approaches Swann's rival about the port deal; CTU learns Richard's cause of death, and Bibi lands in the crosshairs of an assassin.

Bibi reveals that Richard orchestrated the bombings as a ploy to get Deputy PM Viktor Maes into power and buy the Antwerp port; using her statement, CTU draw a link to additional operatives, but Bibi has even more shocking intel to share.

A year after the bombings, Trestford boss Richard Melnick dies in Antwerp, and CTU's Christian de Jong remains under investigation for shooting Luca Rivera; in Ireland, Bibi Brannigan makes an offer to CAB, now led by DS Claire Wallace.
